HOLY COW! OPENS 2ND LOCATION IN ZÜRICH:LANGSTRASSE

ZÜRICH, Tuesday 4 October 2016 –The Locally Swiss gourmet burger restaurant, Holy Cow!, will open its second Zurich Location @ the vibrant intersection of Langstrasse & Militärstrasse on October 15th. Known as the `going out hotspot` in Zurich, Holy Cow! is looking to continue its ‘Better Burger’ movement in this lively Zurich district.

HOLY COW! first opened it’s doors in 2009 in Lausanne and since then, 10 more restaurants in 6 different cantons have opened throughout Switzerland.

Distinguished by fresh, premium-quality swiss sourced produce and quick and friendly service, Holy Cow! offers a new perspective on fast food. “Holy Cow! has been focusing on a long-term vision to change the way people think about and eat fast food,” said Ian Young. “At the heart of that is our commitment to great quality ingredients — an essential aspect in making the best tasting food”.

To celebrate the opening, Holy Cow! is incorporating a mix of local ingredients

to create the mouth-watering ZÜRI BURGER featuring a savory honey-mustard sauce and a local cheese from the Zürich Oberland in order to incorporate home-grown flavors and culinary traditions. The Züri Burger will be launched nationwide on October 15th and will make sure to capture everything familiar, comforting and delicious about our gourmet burgers, while promoting the canton’s endemic specialties to all Holy Cow! locations.

The “Suisse Garantie” beef and chicken burgers range from the Classics (Beef, Big Cheese), to the Modern Classics (Bacon & Avocado, Funky Chicken), the Innovative (Viva España – beef, toasted goat cheese honey glazed chorizo and hot chili) playful and creative combinations are not for the faint of heart.

The new Holy Cow! restaurant mirrors its food philosophy, that simple ingredients used in creative ways can elevate the ordinary to extraordinary. The distinctive green tiles will are instantly recognizable, the canvases will be displayed in crisp frames: the brand’s overall relaxed and simple aesthetic will provide the perfect atmosphere to enjoy your tasty, gourmet meal. The restaurant boasts an open kitchen and the rustic communal wooden tables are perfect for bringing people together and create strong sustainable bonds with the local community.
